Why Get Vaccinated? The chickenpox vaccine helps protect against varicella-zoster virus, which causes itchy rashes, fever, and fatigue. While chickenpox is usually mild, it can lead to serious complications, especially for pregnant women, newborns, and people with weakened immune systems. Who Should Get Vaccinated? • Children – Some countries include the vaccine in routine childhood immunization. • Adults who haven't had chickenpox – Especially those working in healthcare, childcare, or close-contact environments. • People at higher risk, including: • Those with weakened immune systems. • Individuals in close contact with vulnerable people. Vaccine Schedule • Standard Course: Two doses— o Two doses for patients aged 9-11 months with 3 months elapsing between the first and second injection o If the patient is 1+ years, then 2 doses are required, 4-8 weeks apart. How It’s Given • Administered as an injection in the upper arm. Side Effects • Usually mild, including redness, swelling, or soreness at the injection site. • Possible fever, rash, or fatigue, lasting 1–2 days. Additional Precautions • Avoid contact with infected individuals if unvaccinated. • Seek medical attention if exposed to chickenpox and at high risk.

Arrival Time** Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to avoid delays for other patients. **4. Walk-ins** Walk-in services are welcome but subject to availability. Booking in advance is strongly recommended for guaranteed service. **5. Identification & Documentation** For certain services (e.g., vaccinations, travel consultations), please bring valid photo ID and any relevant medical or travel documents. **6. Consent** By booking an appointment, you consent to receive treatment from a qualified healthcare professional under our standard procedures and privacy policy.
